15 points from the Year 2015

This year has been really a tough year for me. Frankly , I was expecting such a year at its  start and it did turned out to be more worse than what I have expected. Of course , some of the things have settled down a bit now after a lot of efforts and I hope things would definitely settle down in the upcoming year 2016. So, I’m very much looking forward for the year 2016.

Here are 15 points in no particular order, I have learned while travelling through this year 2015.

  •  Nobody will come for your rescue when u needed the most.
  • Staying away social media like fb, whatsapp leads to a peaceful mind.
  • Instrumental music transcends me to another world.
  • Difficulties in life just fall on you all at once.
  • The world will not change for you, rather you should change yourselves.
  • Strong WILL can move mountains.
  • Your parents deserve more attention than you ever thought of.
  • You should be closer to God to face things beyond your control.
  • De-attachment leads to better productive life.
  • Health is of great importance to lead a peaceful life.
  • Always do something good for others around you irrespective of what you are going through.
  • Change is only constant, but your inner core values should always remain same.
  • Money can buy happiness , but its not everything one should aspire for.
  • Life and Death are part and parcel of this Universe.
  • One should be mindful about others perception about you.

Thanks to Cyberabad Traffic police !!!

Traffic in Hyderabad city requires no introduction. Its worst, as no-one would like to follow traffic rules. The below picture shows the Traffic related problem for pedestrians crossing the road at Kothapet T- junction, Hyderabad. Of course , I'm one of them and that's how  I was feeling the pinch of the problem, when everyday I have to cross the road at this junction. The picture shows the how the traffic coming from Point A and B  merges at Point C and if you have observed closely only one traffic signal is controlling the traffic coming from point A, which I think is route cause of the problem I'm going to explain below.

The actual problem arises when the only traffic signal turns RED. When RED signal is ON, it is expected that the entire Traffic coming from Point A should halt so as to make way for traffic coming from Point B to go to Point C. Alas, thats not exactly it is happening as there is only one traffic signal and people intending to go towards Point B are only stopping , while those who wants to go Point C are continuing as usual as there is no clear cut instructions that the entire traffic at point A has to halt and there is no free left available as well. This is causing a lot of problems who are crossing the road as there is no halt of traffic and the worst is , I was almost run over by passing traffic a couple of times. Thanks to God who was on my side every time.

After struggling for 2 months , I have decided on Friday i.e., on Nov 07th,2015 to do something about it. I decided to write to Deputy Commissioner of Police , Cyberabad Traffic Police  regarding this problem along with some pictures, clearly indicating the problem along with possible solution.I hoped that by bringing the problem to attention of higher authorities would solve the problem quickly.  Due to some obligation , I couldn't workout the details for this traffic grievance on Saturday i.e., on Nov 8th, 2015 and I had to function to attend on sunday as well i.e., on Nov 9th ,2015 , so  I had to postponed this work for next week.

To reach the venue of the function on sunday i.e., on Nov 9th,2015 , I have go through Kothapet T- Junction and while  I was passing by, I was surprised and dumbstruck to see ONE MORE TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLED ON LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD ( REFER PIC BELOW ) AND WHICH  ALREADY STARTED WORKING.   I was so happy to see , a newly installed traffic signal. For a moment , I felt someone had read my mind and got the traffic signal installed !!!. Anyways , now the problem for pedestrians should be resolved by this new traffic signal.

I would like to thank Cyberabad Traffic Police for installing the New traffic signal as they would have felt the problem or else someone might have already complained regarding the above said issue.

I felt so happy and that's the reason , I'm sharing this with you all.

Anyways , its good to see good things happening around you :)

Cheers

Goonj.. a voice, an effort

I came across GOONJ, an NGO dedicated for the upliftment of rural areas in the Sunday magazine of EENADU paper some TWO months ago. The moment I read about their efforts for upliftment of rural areas by providing necessary items such as clothes etc, I decided, I should contribute something from my side. GOONJ which was founded by Anshu Gupta , who won  Ramon Magsaysay Award for 2015 ,has developed a unique model of using old re-usuable clothes as the centre point for overall  development of a rural area.

After interacting with Mr. Parithosh , who works at Hyderabad Office of GOONJ, I understood the working style of GOONJ. Its simple , identify an issue in rural areas and educate them towards what needs to be done for resolving the issue. And motivate them to work towards resolving the issue and in rewards you get good clothes for your contribution. Of course many others are also given , but the prime-mover of this movement is using re-usuable old clothes as driving point. This is because ,  I was explained that rural people, though may not be rich in terms of money, but they are rich in their value system. Hence you wouldn't find beggars in rural areas except in urban areas. So, as explained earlier, get work done towards benefit of their villages and in return clothes are given as a reward for their contribution instead of freely distributing the clothes.

As I was motivated by this concept, I decided to collect clothes from few of my friends, colleagues and neighbours as well. Initially , I aimed to collect atleast 100 clothes, but with help of my mom who spread out the word to all her friends, neighbours and relatives made me cross more than 300 clothes :). I was quite surprised, when after collecting the old clothes from all the generous people, the final number of clothes turned out to be more than 350.So special thanks to my dearest mom :)

The picture above is the total amount of the clothes collected and stuffed in 3 carton and 10 poly bags. I would like to extend my gratitude and thanks to everyone who contributed to this drive generously and thus helping the people in need.

The following is the list of people who have contributed to this drive. I once again thank each and everyone from my bottom of my heart for lending their hand for upliftment of society.

After two months of collection, I decided to give away all these clothes to GOONJ office in Hyderabad. So , with help of my best friend Mr. D. Venkatesh and his car, we stuffed all the cartons and polybags in his car. Initially, I was bit  worried as to whether all the items can be stuffed inside the car or not, but somehow we managed to stuff them all as you can see the picture below. The items inside the car.

We went to GOONJ office in Hyderabad and had good interaction with Mr. Parithosh regarding the working of GOONJ. Finally after submitting the clothes to them , we headed back to our homes feeling satisfied that these clothes shall be put to some good use.

Below is the receipt from GOONJ about clothes received from us.

Click on the pic to enlarge

I would like to once again thank everyone and may God bless you all.

Stay Happy and Keep smiling

P.S:  I have decided to conduct this drive of collecting old clothes once every year in the month of October ;)

Friend of the Earth Award ;)

Just felt like sharing something from my old memories ...

I dont remember exactly how came to know about this website called "donateyourpc.in", this organization is dedicated for collecting the old , unused working desktop computers from anyone who is interested to give their PC's to them and inturn they would give it to an NGO in need of PC. I did like this concept and I had an old PC with me too, but it was not in working condition.

I already bought a new PC and scrapped the old PC in our storage room .I decided I need to make my PC in working condition which I bought in 2002 and at ones give it to this organization. After getting it repaired for few bucks, I put my PC for anyone to take on their website on Nov 2013.

My first Pentium 4 PC
And after two months , I get a call from these guys from NGO named Zeenath Social & Educational Organization which is dedicated for upliftment of children in rural areas by educating them  and they intend to blend technology oriented learning by making extensive usage of computers and in this process  they are in need of PC's.  I remember the call from Mr. Jamal, who was working with the organization and at that time  was running a camp in Kurnool district, called me to tell more about their organization. I was deeply impressed by their work at ones decided to give my PC to them and on January 25th,2014 the organization representatives collected my dearest PC. Later on , Mr. Jamal called me to thank me and also offered me to come to one of their conference in Agra. But due to office obligations, I did not go.

Later one day , as a small token for my PC, the guys from Donateyourpc.in send me this certificate ;). I felt happy for this.

Thank you guys from donateyourpc.in , But now I think they have closed their organization for unknown reasons. Yet they were able to make a mark by providing the platform between donors and receivers and over 400 PC's were exchanged as far as I remember from their website. That was great achievement as far as I'm concerned and kudos to the entire team:)

Solving Rubik cube!!!

I always wanted to solve Rubik cube, but I just couldnt get enough time as well as the correct technique. Today , I dont know what prompted me to do so, I was determined to see an end to this issue and with the help of youtube community ( I already owe a lot to youtube) , I have solved the rubik cube for the first time. I feel very elated and thought of sharing this moment in my blog.

For anyone interested to solve the rubik cube , kindly go through this video tutorial which is very lucid and helped me a lot.

Solving a Rubik cube  troubled people over many generations since its inception in 1980's. People were finally able to come up with set of instructions that will help you in solving the cube. One such instructions are there in above video.
Finally , I'll share some pics of my accomplishment which took me about one hour to solve.

At the start
Stage 1 complete
Almost there
Finally mission accomplished
Finally , feeling elated after this small accomplishment and now I should practice more and reduce the solving time to less 5 minutes ;).

Let us see what can be done :)

Oath of an Indian Army Officer!!!

The Armed Forces of India i.e., Indian Army, Indian Airforce and Indian Navy will always have a very special place in my heart for what they represent. I came to  know about these brave hearts of India only during the Kargil Conflict in 1999 when I was in my 8th grade. Since then I have a huge respects for these Men in uniform.

I never had 'THE STUFF' to make it into Indian Army except for deep love of My Nation and its people. But nevertheless , I'm always fascinated towards it. I had a great privilege of interacting with Armed forces and visiting their places which was once in a life time opportunity. My fascination took me to a journey of understanding them a better through wars that they fought, their tactics, challenges faced , mental agony and utmost bravery displayed against all odds to win the battle etc. These things have increased my sense of respect for these men to a new level.

Coming to one particular thing that I get connected to very much is the Oath of an Indian Army officer, which I 'm going to write it down here.

"I  hereby solemnly swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India,as by law established and that I will, as in duty bound honestly and faithfully, serve in the regular Army of the Union of India and go wherever ordered, by land, sea or air,and that I will observe and obey all the commands of the President of the Union of India and the commands of any officer set above me, even to the peril of my life."

I came to know about Oath through the movie "lakshya", where a particular scene was dedicated for this Oath ceremony.  Here is the Oath scene from the Movie " Lakshya".

This scene always gives me goosebumps whenever I see it. This scene was executed to perfection. It is because of this Oath that they are bounded to, which makes them to execute their tasks putting their lives at risk . It is because of this Oath that the people of this Nation are able to have good night sleep with their families while these men guard our borders against evil forces working to demoralize this Nation. My salutations to these great men and their responsibility that are dutifully fulfilling.  I almost see this once in every week to remind myself of my duty towards My Nation.

In all, I take pride in being a great supporter of Indian armed forces. Their discipline , courage , traditions and love for the Nation is what  needs to be inculcated in every citizen of this Nation for its Prosperity and Peace.

Lastly I leave you with this Instrumental Intro music from the Movie "Lakshya" which inspires me a lot. Hope you enjoy it too.  Just remember to take pride in being Indian and supporter of Indian Armed Forces. This is least thing they can expect from us apart from respect and honour.

Stay Happy and keep smiling

YES!! I AM AN ORGAN DONOR

I always enjoyed giving something to others and make their lives peaceful and happy. This brings a great joy to my heart and I always enjoyed doing it no matter whatever I need to face it on my side. In the end, I always ensure that the other person is happy. I just love giving and I'm not boastful of myself as I don't expect anything in return;). I'm sharing this on my blog because I know very well that not many read by blog ;). I just wanted to say simply that I enjoy giving without any expectations from others.

Continuing this tradition of giving ,  I wanted to ensure that I leave my legacy even when I'm gone. I mean when I'm dead. I felt the most effective way to help out when you are gone is by donating your organs to others who are in need of it.So I immediately registered myself along with my good old friend Karthik on October 23rd , 2013 to Mohan Foundation which is dedicated to inspire people to donate their organ after death.Check out their website for more info regarding organ donations.

This Donor card I always carry in my wallet

We can donate the following organs Kidneys , Eyes, Heart, Lungs, Liver, Pancreas , skin and save upto 8 lives which is a huge impact we can have after we are dead. I hope I would be helpful in the same to whatever extend possible after I'm dead.

The Important aspect of this donation is that the consent of my family to carryout this after I'm dead. Of course , they readily agreed to me when I told them  about my organ donation. But I'm not quite sure what would be circumstances my family has to go through and get this done after I 'm dead. I hope it would bring some happiness to them after I'm gone.

So guys here I'm pledging my organs to be donated after I'm dead and hope my family and friends would get this thing done for me. I hope it inspires you to do the same.

Here is an inspiring 21 years old boy Thota Manikanta who was  declared brain dead after  an accident and upon his family consent all his organs were donated. His organs can now save upto 8 lives!!! . This has happened on  March 7th ,2015 which inspired me to write this post. I dedicate this post to this boy who will continue to live on forever through his organs.

Here is the link below to  the news article that came in THE HINDU in which a detail description of  the efforts of everyone i.e.,Family, friends, Doctors, Police and traffic police in making sure to fulfill this boy's last wish by creating a Green Channel was executed to perfection . Hatsoff to everyone.

Here is a video which shows the response of the people who stood by the roadside to pay respects to this boy by showing flowers . Watch till the end.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2015

We, Indians are born to play and watch cricket. And a world cup is just a feast to everyone which comes every four years. Like every Indian, I have grown up watching Cricket and learning from it. I remember vaguely my first ever World cup which I have watched when I was in my 6th grade i.e.,1996. It was mesmerizing event for me as the God of Cricket -Sachin Tendulkar scored a massive 591 runs in all matches India. played ,though India lost in semi-final against Sri Lanka.

Since then I have become an ardent fan of cricket watching every match possible.Lately after World cup 2011 in which India won it and with the advent of T-20 format of the game, it has become too much for me to take.  With too much cricketing tournaments every now and then had made me lose the zeal to watch them with interest. But nevertheless , I'm a supporter of my Indian Cricket Team and wish them to win this time too.

During our school days, I remember how we used to play cricket every weekend with our seniors with a bet of Rs.10/- with each member of team contributing to Rs. 1/- . If we won the match a reward of Rs. 1/- shall be offered and in total your amount goes to Rs. 2/- per match which is huge amount in those days. Now whenever I think of this , it puts on a smile on my face. Those were some of the best days of my life and I have to come in terms with life that gone are those days.

Coming to present World cup 2015 which is hosted jointly by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015 made me bring back my interest to watch cricket once again. Defending Champions India will have tough time to retain cup this time. But Indian team is very well prepared and equipped with right strategies and individuals to deliver the best.  I'm sure this time it will be tough for any one to take cup away from India.

Having said this , the Indian team supporters and advertising agencies have come up with some really funny way to convey support to our team. I'm sure this is one of the best advertisements I have seen so far campaigning support to Indian cricket team. I 'm sure after watching this you would agree with me too.

Here , I'm going to present to you these advertisements in sequence to the matches being played by India.

The Indian Cricket team started its first match on Feb 15th , 2015  with arch rivals Pakistan whom we have beaten every time we met them in world cup. Here is a advt pertaining to it which is quite funny. Watch it and enjoy.

The match with Pakistan was completely dominated by Indians and India won it comfortably beating Pakistan once again. ( Just keep in mind the person in this advt.)

The next match India played was with South Africa whom we were never able to beat in the World cup and following are advts related to it.

And in response to this advt , Indian supporters made this really funny advt.

South Africa never won World cup so far which is what is conveyed in funny way in the above advt .

And on the Feb 22nd 2015 , the two teams met on the cricket ground to settle the scores for once and for all. And it was Indian team once again who has dominated the South Africans and comfortably won the match. Way to go India.

With Indian team next match with UAE , Here is a funny advt depicting this scenario in a hilarious way .

Remember the Pakistani guy in first advt , he seems here so desperate to make India lose at any cost and would support any team who has potential to defeat India. Though all this is on lighter side, not really intended to hurt anyone's intentions.

I'm really enjoying these funny advts and campaign to support India Cricket team , I'm sure with all this support, our team would eventually win this world cup too. Cheers to Indian cricket team.

I hope to see this World cup trophy 2015 with him like this. All the best Dhoni team.

Happy Birthday to My Blog !!!!

Dear readers,
I'm happy to say that this February 27th,2015  my blog will complete its    FIVE  years of existence on the Internet;). Hurray !!! Happy Birthday to my dear blog ;)

Frankly , I never expected that I would carry on blogging for these many years. In fact, in the year 2013, I have posted only once. I was certain that I almost lost interest on blogging and should retire from it . But somehow posting my guitar videos kept me going. Of course, I'm not a prolific writer with many things to share , but I do like to write when I feel for something very strongly. I feel very much composed and peaceful whenever I write down my thoughts. I hope I will continue blogging for years to come.

For this year 2015, as things are getting harder in life , I decided to increase my frequency of posting to say once a week just to deviate myself. I hope to keep my word for this year. Wish me luck;).

This is what I intend to do from now, no matter whatever may be things going on in my life. I will continue to update this blog. Of course , this post wont end without saying thanks from bottom of my heart to all those readers who took time to go through my blog and also share their feelings towards my posts. Your words of encouragement was constant motivation to blog on . A special mention for my dear friend Sai Charan , who constantly encouraged me to blog on throughout these five years.

Anyway ,In the end  I thank YOU  for taking time to go through my blog. As my blog tagline says " Let the world around me be happy that in turn makes me happy.. " . I wish to God to bless you with the best  life possible ever.

Happy Valentines Day!!!

We all know that Feb 14th represents the day  dedicated to this special feeling called 'Love'. According to me, love represents a level of understanding that makes you accept other person unconditionally. It makes you shower your affection and care towards them to make them happy.Love represents a great sense of responsibility towards other person that must be fulfilled with great devotion throughout their lives ,no matter whatever may be the disturbances encountered in their journey of life. Love gives you the strength that you could have never imagined and is also capable of making you weaker than ever.

Love transcends the verbal description  and yet everyone craves to be in love. In this 21st century ,I m not quite sure ,how the younger generation define love?.Ofcourse, I'm sure everybody defines love in their own way. This is just what I feel about it. Love exists in every human relationship such as mother-son , brother-sister etc.Since Feb 14th is more dedicated to the couples, here is just a cute video that is  worth sharing and conveys in a beautiful way what love is:)

Here is another powerful video that has a special  message  to everyone, from a cutest couple who are in deep love since ages. Listen to this couple carefully ,whose words are pearls of wisdom.

So,I wish everyone in love, a Very Happy Valentines Day ahead. I hope your love for loved ones blossoms into much more stronger bondage than ever and make your lives much more joyful:)

Straight from My Heart

For quite some time I haven’t been able to  update my blog the way I wanted. I started blogging with the intention of just sharing what I feel or I do irrespective of whether somebody even reads my blog or not. Though I tried marketing my blog initially but with little success. Sometimes I even do it now , but from now on I won't. Until and unless, I feel its really really  necessary. Because I realized its so weird . I always  found expressing myself through written medium much more comfortable than to speak up, cause it makes you think carefully and brings some sense in you, when you put down something on a paper. What blogging has done to me is to get my thoughts organized to some extent when randomness prevails over me. And this gives me a sense of direction of approach to my life.

At present, chaos rules me. I just can't focus on anything long enough at least to make it productive both on professional as well as on personal level.  I don't know why but suddenly I lost the zeal to push myself at professional level, may be I’m too comfortable in my comfort zone or may be the routine nature of work. I don't know for sure. Infact I have a good job with comfortable salary in my hand and with a designation which is completely a misnomer as far as i’m concerned and which  I never really deserved it. But atleast I feel proud of my work that we do as a team serving the nation, keeping aside designations.

I like to lead a simple life with a peaceful mind frame towards the world around. I’m not driven by the materialistic possession of this world. And to some extend , this school of thoughts has helped me a lot to stay balanced in life. But life started to hit harder than ever to me and my family , which requires me to change my outlook about life and face these odd times. In positive sense, things like these, makes me grow stronger mentally than ever and that is what keeps me going ahead.

Below is the famous quote by famous Chinese Philosopher Lao Ztu which aptly describes the best way of living life.

Pic Courtesy: InspirationBoost.com

I need to accept this reality and embrace it whole-heartedly and hope for the best that I deserve for all my efforts. The best way I felt to bring a change in life is by reading books , motivational videos ,  helping others , spreading love, blogging, playing guitar, making new friends, making new hobbies, accepting more challenges and responsibilities at professional level and have deeper understanding of life through spiritual way and many more things to do.

No matter whatever hurdle life throws at me , I should face and embrace it and also be thankful for making me grow stronger than ever.

"I always pray to God to give strength to make people around me happy and smiling and I should absorb negativity surrounding me and always project the positive vibes from deep within towards others. No matter whatever may be the circumstances."

I hope He listens to me ..

Below is the one of the best speeches that sums up about life from the movie " Rocky balboa". Hope it motivates you too like it did it to me:)

A home for my Aunt !!!

(There are certain things in your life that no matter wherever you are and doing whatsoever, just a gentle  remainder of these things brings a great amount of Joy and satisfaction to your heart. I'm going to share one such thing with you.)

To start with , basically our family is  middle class and it was my dad who worked real hard throughout his life to give us a better life . I'm very much indebted to him and no words can convey what he must have gone through to give us this life. I owe my life to him. I learned many things from him just by watching him in action. I'm what I'm today  because of him.  He is my hero and no-one can ever replace his position.

Coming to my family relatives, some of them settled very well and  some are not. One such relative who according to me isn't lucky enough is my aunt. I often used to meet her at any of our relative marriage functions. My mom told me about her life which moved me a lot. Her condition was pathetic. She lost her husband long time ago and she lives in a small shed with her son  aged 40 years and who is mentally disturbed. Her only source of income is from a hostel where she works. With just meager income and a son to take care without a proper shelter, I felt God was not fair towards her.

One day , she came to our home and finally got the courage to ask us for help as my mom is very close to her. My mom in turn told me the above story and asked me to help her construct a home for her.

I straight away said yes and promised my aunt that I would help her out. Within a week , I arranged the required amount(Rs.50k)  to construct one single room along with some items to purchase for her home. Within a month , the room was made ready with the help of my aunt friends back in her village.

She felt very happy to get herself a new home and is now living a better life than ever. Seeing this, my heart just filled with joy and a sense of satisfaction that I would never forget and will remain throughout my life.

Below are the pictures of the my aunt's Home.

Barrister Parvathisham

This is the book , I was longing to read ever since I have completed my schooling way back in 2001.And now I finally found the copy of this wonderful book. I wanted to make sure to read this book before I die. So after waiting for literally 14 years , I was able to get a copy of this book.

This hilarious Telugu Novel written in 1924 by "Mokkapati Narasimhasastri" , a renowed writer in Telugu Language. Though only a small portion of this book was made as  our school syllabus, but while reading this novel, it always ensured that my smile never faded away from my face. This novel arouse a tremendous interest for Telugu novels within me.

This book is all about the humorous adventures of "Parvathisham" a naive and traditional person from backward village in Andhra Pradesh, who sees Barrister course in England as only way to solve all his problems. ( Barristers are someone who specialize in courtroom advocacy, drafting legal pleadings, and giving expert legal opinions.) . The book is all about his struggles to reach England and mingle with English culture while pursuing his course with no background knowledge of English language and their customs as well .

Though , I haven't started reading this book, but I'm quite happy and excited that one task I set out for myself before I die , will be done within a month.

Musical Weekend

Hi :) First of all Belated Happy new year wishes to you all. I'm sure you all might have already working with passion to make this year much more better and memorable time of your life.I wish you all the best in this regard and hope u guys achieve all your goals you have set out for yourselves.   Finally I got something on my mind to share with you. This is my first post of the year 2015. Hope you guys like it.

The First week of this year turned out to be Musical one as I had the opportunity to attend Two of the best musical concerts on fusion music.

1. Panchtatva - at Shilpakalavedika , Hyderabad.- on Jan 3rd

2. Strings that sing - at RavindraBharathi, Hyderabad.- on Jan 4th.

And it was mind blowing experience for me as it took me to an entire different world altogether where it was simply joy to live on.

1. Panchtatva

Panchtatva- meaning the five element of universe that makes life i.e., Air, Water , Fire , Land and Sky. This concert was organized by Art And Artist Company. The concept of the concert was very beautiful. It was like celebrating Each element with a special tune or Raaga dedicated to it and performed by Maestro. The concert has big names attached to it including Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia , the renowned Indian classical flautist  to name a few .I was just damn lucky to see the variety of instruments involved like Tabla, Guitar , Drums , Kanjira , Flute , Harmonium and Mrudhangam was just a feast to my ears.  The highlight of the concert was not only the music but also the poetry dedicated to each element along with stunning background visuals related to each element. See the pictures below and enjoy.

Stunning background Visuals Representing each element. Here the element is land

All five elements together and there is LIFE

Laurels to the Entire Panchtatva team and Standing Ovation to the Pandits and Mastreo

2. Strings that sing

"String that sing" concert is organised by Jadhavpur University Alumni Association - Hyderabad chapter. which was performed by Rahul Sharma , who is son of  renowed Santoor Pandit Shiva Sharma. Santoor was just so soothing to my heart and very pleasant to hear. On Tabla was Subhankar Benarjee who was mesmerizing us with his skills on Tabla. What a show indeed , truly a musical feast to remember.

Rahul Sharma( Santoor)  along with Subhankar Benarjee( Tabla)  Performing Raagas.

Here is a small clipping of the concert for your joy .

Music is something which is always very close to my heart and the experience it leaves on me is something that I always long for and cherish it throughout my life.

All in all , these two concerts have just sown the seeds of interest in me towards classical music. It was great weekend and a great start to this New year. I hope to attend many more concerts in this year and just by listening to them transcend to a different world altogether where there is just pure joy and nothingelse.

Anyways Stay happy and Keep Smiling
